Welcome to my personal page.  I guess this site is more for my benefit than for yours.  Just like a teacher often boasts about how much he learns from teaching, there is a great deal that I have learned about myself from sharing these few words with you.

Here's my story: I am husband and father  who happens to practice law during the day (and often late into the night). I grew up in New Mexico, received my undergraduate degree from   American Univ.,  received my law degree from Univ. of Richmond, and lived in Northern Virginia until our recent (June 2007) move to Nashville, TN.

Christmas 1998, I went to visit my parents who had since moved to Oklahoma City. . . . That's where I fell in love with two beautiful ladies.  Let me explain that statement: When Courtney and Alex came along, I knew immediately they were the one . . . or two.  And there was no doubt in my mind that Courtney was  presidential material. She was loving,  compassionate, intelligent, smart, innocent, witty, and kind.  The fact that she is so beautiful is such a bonus! (I definitely married out of my league.)

I married   Courtney and her then 2-year-old Alex on January 5, 2002. Over the next two years, Alex and I had so much fun together playing WWF Wrestling (girls can wrestle, too), making mud pies ("Mom's not going to be happy."), and sliding down the stairs with the sleeping bag ("Are you ready for take-off, Commander?") She is great!

Our son, Dylan Matthew came along in Sept. 2003.  Thanks to Courtney & Alex, I had been completely prepared for being a new DAD. (Thank you, ladies.) Then came Addy Joy and Alyssa Faith--two more lovely ladies.  I can't get enough time with my kids and it seems as though they are growing so fast.

What next? Life as an attorney. I love my job, it provides for my family, and I think that I will always be a "Worker-Bee."  Even if I were to become a multi-millionaire one day, I would still practice law because I like the mental challenge. (Of course, I would consider moving to St. Croix, as I am sure the legal community there may need my help!)

Let's put all this ramble together into at least one coherent thought:

I love my day job, because it challenges me all the time and fulfills that "I am a caveman, I hunt for my food" instinct.  But from the time I walk into the office, I can't wait until I can get home to be with the most important people in my life: to wrestle with Dylan; to squeeze and kiss Addy and Alyssa; to hug Alex and read her a book; and to giggle the rest of the night away with Courtney.  I don't always play this game perfect, but I know that I am finally playing it right.
