That's Not Right (#8)

That's not right ... a collection of stories, events, and incidents that are just ... not right! This one comes from my bother, CaveBear, and his family. Picture one taken on March 7 in Arizonie and Picture 2 taken on March 8 in Minne-sowta. That's not right!

Frozen Food

This should probably be linked under a "That's Not Right" series, but I will just go ahead and tell you. Last night ... while the ladies were playing "build a gingerbread house" ... I spent the evening with Dad and Nos. 2, 3, and 4. MyBeloved ... because she is my beloved wife ... made dinner for us all, which we took over to Dad's house. Here's what happened:
  • I get the little ones seated at the table.
  • I put out three small paper plates.
  • I open the four containers of food.
  • Food looks scrumptious ... homemade meatloaf, whipped potatoes, peas, and cinnamon applies.
  • I dish out the food for the little ones.
  • Little ones begin to eat food.
  • I get Dad to the table.
  • I put out two big paper plates ( ... yes, we are bigger dudes ... ).
  • I dish out the food for Dad.
  • Dad begins to eat food.
  • I dish out the food for me.
  • I look at food ... doesn't look quite right.
  • I touch food ... it is cold.
  • Dad and kids are eating cold food.
  • I heat up my food and join them.

Yeah, that's not right.

That's Not Right (#6)

That's not right ... a collection of stories, events, and incidents that are just ... not right! No. 3 is up right now ... yes, it's about 1:00am ... with a "tummy ache" ... so here I sit pounding on the computer. I found an example of what happens when an older sister takes advantage of a younger sister. Take a look yourself ...

No.3, I know that you cannot read right now, but when you learn ... THAT'S NOT RIGHT!

That's Not Right (#4)

That's not right ... a collection of stories, events, and incidents that are just ... not right!

Remember my friend, LegalAide? You should, I just told you about her a few minutes ago. Anyway, while we were talking about life and signing over Dad's life savings to me, Dad decided to pass some gas.

I said, "Dad, you just tooted in front of my friend. That's not right!" (... I know it's sexist, but if "she" were a "he" I would not have said anything ... I would have just laughed ... )

Smiling, Pacino-voiced-Dad responded, "It was medically necessary."

Nice.

That's Not Right (#3)

That's not right ... a collection of stories, events, and incidents that are just ... not right! I am speechless about this one. This is why you should never let your wife take your son to your daughter's birthday party sleepover at a hotel with a bunch of 10 year old girls!

Honey, I know you never read G&G ... you don't have time ... but if you ever happen to stumble on this site, and particularly this post, just know ... that's not right!

That's Not Right (#2)

That's not right ... a collection of stories, events, and incidents that are just ... not right! Today's TNR story comes from a conversation between Dad and my No. 2 offspring a few days ago. Let's take a listen at their conversation ...

Dad: I love you, No. 2.
No.2: I love you Pappy.
Dad: I miss you, No. 2.
No. 2: I miss you Pappy ... Pappy?
Dad: Yes.
No. 2: Is this where you go poop?
Dad: Yes.
No. 2: Where do you flush?
------------------------
That's not right! Ingenious ... but no right!

That's Not Right (#1)

That's not right ... a collection of stories, events, and incidents that are just ... not right! Today's TNR story comes from a conversation between Dad and BigVolFan a few days ago. Let's see what Dad had to say ...

Dad: ( ... in his best Pacino/Brando voice ... ) VolFan, come here!

BVF: Yes, Ray.

Dad: Did the water bill come in for the church?

BVF: Yes, I think so.

Dad: How much was it?

BVF: I don' t know. Off the top of my head, I think it was about $300.

Dad: That's not right. That's too much. Something's wrong. We gotta do something about that water bill.

No, Dad, you're not right! Worry about your recovery. Let someone else worry about that water bill.
