Small World ... Only God ...
Generally speaking, when you meet someone who has a tie to someone else you know, or to somewhere else you have been, or to something else you have done, then the standard response is, "Wow! It's a small world!"
At G&G, that kind of stuff happens all the time and we say, "Wow! Only God ..." Let's see if you can follow this one:
- On Saturday, I recieved an email from Ms.Infantry at Buffalo Valley Presbyterian Church, who says they "have been praying since the accident. Our minister Mr. W has been particularly compassionate, disturbed and prayer-motivated after I shared with him the challenge that has been placed before Pastor Ray, your family and the Woodbine family, of which I will always consider myself a part."
- On Sunday, I received an email from PrayerChair (Yep ... the one who helped send Dad to the Wall ... ). PrayerChair (and her circle of friends) have been praying for Dad since early in this journey. Apparently, PrayerChair received a copy of Ms.Infantry's email asking for prayers for Dad. Can you believe that? Small world ...
- It's like saying: PersonA prays for Dad. PersonB prays for Dad. PersonA and PersonB do not know each other, and I have never met either one of them. And I just found out that PersonB sent an email to the World to pray for Dad, and PersonA received a copy of that email from PersonC. Wow! Some would say, "Small world ..." We say, "Only God ..."
