Matt,

My Dad and I went to the hospital and visited with your Mom this afternoon. She is a real strong lady with a lot of faith during this very trying time. Pat -just hang in there and take it one day at a time. Somedays will be good and others not co good. Matt - thank you for taking your time to keep us all, who are on the outside, informed and updated on your Dad's progress. You are doing a good job.
Love In Christ,
Pam Holt

Ms Pat,

We love you GREATLY and have been praying for you as well as Pastor Ray. I can not even imagine your feelings so I won't pretend to. I know it is SOOO hard to rest at a time like this as your mind doesn't want to slow down, but please try to get plenty. I know, easier said than done, but it will help!... and I KNOW YOU KNOW THAT! Now put it into action. He will be okay and you need to have plenty of energy for when he's awake and is able to enjoy you! It won't help him if you are exhausted! I have believed since 10 minutes after I heard about this, that he was going to be okay. I was at the lake when Susan called. We have wireless internet down by the front gates. I went down to send out the prayer request. There was a lady walking on the ball field. I went over and sat on a bench. She kind of walked up my way... but held at a distance and she asked me if I had a signal there... (I'll forego the whole conversation about connections) but I then said that I was sending out a prayer e-mail...... She said did you say "prayer" e-mail I said Yes and she asked me for whom, I quickly told her. She was still a good 15-20 feet away and asked me what his name was. She told me she would keep him in her prayers as well and then she turned and started to walk away. She stopped, turned back and said "would you like to pray right now, together?" I told her that would be GREAT! She asked me my name, told me hers (Cindy), she grabbed my hands and said an ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY FABULOUS PRAYER! As she departed from my presence, she said, if you see me again, please let me know how it turns out. I can not tell you the PEACE that I felt immediately and I knew when she said that that when I saw her again I was going to be able to tell her he was FINE!.... And I still believe this will be the case! Although at times I'm anxious to know more... I've not had any doubts about his recovery! When you need some love and support, just look inside your heart... We are there, have set up camp and will never leave!

LOVING AND PRAYING,
Lois
