Dad ... at the Wall

FaceBookMiracle. I just connected to PrayerChair, a faithful warrior who got word of Dad's accident. PrayerChair became disabled about seven years ago following a (poor) knee surgery. She has now started a "Prayer Partner Ministry" ... much of which is done through the laptop. [... "Thank you," BillGates ... (sarcastically) ... no really, "Thank you PrayerChair." ... ]

Here's the true impact of PrayerChair's ministry:
"I am also going to send Pastor Ray's name and your site to a Jewish friend of mine in the Holy Land. On Friday, her ministry will be taking names to the Wall to pray for and insert. I will be asking for Pastor Ray's name to be put into the wall with a prayer for his complete healing so that he can testify to all ears that God is still in the healing business."

In case you don't know, the Wall ... the West Wall of the Temple Mount ... is said to be what was left of Solomon's original Temple after its destruction.

According to our friend Wiki, "The sages state that anyone who prays in the Temple in Jerusalem, 'it is as if he has prayed before the throne of glory because the gate of heaven is situated there and it is open to hear prayer.' Jewish Law dictates that when Jews pray the Silent Prayer, they should face mizrach, towards Jerusalem, the Temple and ultimately the Holy of Holies, as all of God’s bounty and blessing emanates from that spot. According to the Mishna, of all the four walls of the Temple Mount, the Western Wall was the closest to the Holy of Holies and therefore that to pray by the Wall is particularly beneficial."

Wow! Thanks again for your ministry PrayerChair!
