100% Update: Well Kinda

TraumaRounds started earlier this morning ... we got back to Unit #14 by around 9:00am. However, Dr. Trauma 4.0 had been called to an emergency surgery and he was unable to complete rounds. The rest of the team, including Dr. TraumaLite 2.0, finished the rounds, but did not report back to us or allow us to cross-exam. (... shucks! ...)

Update (from what I could overhear):

• Blood pressure lower than usual
• EKG was performed for some reason ... no results discussed (... only whispers ...)
• Blood work came back regular for O2 saturation levels

Administration Update:

• Medical approval for TheSelect (...the speciality rehabilitation place ...), but still waiting for insurance approval

Bonus Update:

• Nurse BlueEyes -- nice smile, good sense of humor, and cheery disposition -- came to open the TraumaDaySpa for Dad, which included a nice bath, shampoo, and shave.
• Nurse BlondeWisdom said that Dad tugged his ventilator tube off twice during the night. Since Dad was supposed to have been doing WindSprints (... a few hours on, and a few hours off, the LungRobot ...), Mom asked whether the ventilator tube had been taken off for WindSprints. The joker that she is, BlondeWisdom said, "Yes, when he pulled the tube out."
• Nurse NextDoor, a dude, came by to say hi to Mom .... I guess he was NextDoor yesterday as well.
