To Nelson, You Are Sick!
I just got the following email:
"I am absolutely addicted to your website. . . I suspected it was becoming a problem when I couldn't wait to get to work every morning so I could log in and read. It became VERY apparent today when found myself becoming impatient waiting for the next installment...in between my various responsibilties here at work, this is something how my morning went...9:00am, nothing yet...9:43, nope...10:12am, Come on!...10:33, Are you kidding me, still nothing???...11:02 (withdrawals kicking in), That's it!! I going to fire off a message to the webmaster when I get back from lunch! 12:47 ALAS!!! A new post...no wait 2 new posts. Thank you...thank you...thank you."
Yes, my friend, you are SICK! But we thank you for the love and prayers. Mom chuckled.

He/she isn't the only one. Maybe they should make a G&GA?
Dear DeVries Family,
Thank you so much for keeping this blog going. If you ask my mom I have been calling her like 3 times a day asking about PR. I have asked everyone I know here in Lexington to keep everyone in thier prayers. I wish I was able to be there, but I know that there are many people opening their arms and hearts to your family. I know God can do amazing things, and he will take care of Pastor Ray. I am praying for you all.
God Bless,
Allison Hosale
DeVries Family,
I would like to thank you so much for posting the information on Pastor Ray. It means a lot to me to be able to connect to your family. I was a member at Eastlake Church. Pastor Ray and Mrs. Pat opened up their hearts to me and my husband and treated us like family. My husband is active duty military and we were there without family. Of course that was not for to long. When we found Eastlake we found our family. I cannot express in words what Pastor Ray and Mrs. Pat meant to my husband and I. They not only treated us like family but were also there to challenge us to grow in our faith. He just always seemed to know how to get me motivated or give me a simple nudge in the right direction. Although we each moved on in our different directions the lessons and memories have always remained close to our hearts. Because of Pastor Ray I have "Stayed Green" (a Pastor Rayism I guess you can say) throughout the many ups and downs in the past years. I know that he has many more lives to touch. We send our continued prayers and love.

Mrs. Pat,
I love you and you are in my thoughts and prayers. You were not only my Pastor's wife but also my friend. We had some great times together from decorating for VBS to getting our hair done together. I have missed you so much. My ears are always available if you need them.
Love,
Allison Sosh
P.S. Mrs. Pat,
Tyler and I are going to have a baby. (a little girl, Lillian Faith) She should be arriving next month.
