Dad finally got his name back today. When admitted to the Trauma Unit, he was given a "STAT" name and all information about his condition, his status, his name, or even his being admitted here was HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL (...this whole incident kinda reminds me of the introduction to Six Million Dollar Man...). In our case, though, GOD is fully restoring Dad.
In case you tried to call the hospital prior to today, you were probably told that there was no record of Ray DeVries. Let me assure you, Ray DeVries lives strong on the Tenth Floor. You can't see him right now, you can't call him right now, but he is growingandgrowing.com each day. If you want to send a note, you can email us here, or send a card to Mom at this address. No longer Stat Album...fully Ray DeVries.

Hallelujah! He has officially been given his identity back - it isn't just a name - it's who you are. So I would say that it's time to 'raise the roof on the 10th floor and announce: Raymond DeVries is no longer a 'STAT'!
I'll end with a quote from the 'Six Million Dollar Man' AKA Raymond DeVries: "God is good...all the time."
