I never knew that news of a small hand squeeze could cause such a large lump in my throat. Thank you for keeping us updated Matt. We continue to pray and continue to glorify Him in each victory. Love to you all.

And so it begins with a squeeze of a hand...God keeps working and giving you signs of His Presence. I know your Mom (and everyone else too) is encouraged beyond belief! Thanks for spreading the Good News!

I was only going to silently read your updates, but when I read your quote of Psalm 91, I had to comment.
A yr. ago, Victor's mother was also in a critical condition and Ray (along w/ a couple of other area CP pastors) sat w/ us during her surgery. It was Ray though who sat with the 3 of us kids when we listened to the surgeon tell us that her "percentage chance" was slim. That night God led me to that Psalm and I clung to it as it was most definitely a "time of trouble." Over a yr. later, my mother in law has recovered fully. I know God led you too to that Psalm - a promise and a command - "call on me, i will deliver you, you will honor me."
Please tell Pat prayers in Sturgis are being said...
