100% Update: SheepDog Turns Corner
What's the good news? Dad is doing remarkably better! Dr. Trauma 4.0, Dr. TraumaLite, and Dr. TraumaLite-ette were part of the rounds this morning. This was the most enthusiastic crew yet. They saved the best for last -- Unit #14 was the last of their TraumaRounds this morning. Nurse BlondeWisdom immediately welcomed us and answered all questions.
Here's the update ... news worthy of praising:
- Lungs and heart strong.
- Dad will do WindSprints today -- 4 hours with LungRobot and 2 hours without it.
- Dad will be weened off the liquid BrainCalmJuice and NoHurtJuice -- that means he can start waking up.
- LungJunk (pneumonia) is being treated.
And here's the new truly worth praising:
- Dr. Trauma 4.0 believes that Dad can start the process of being transferred to another facility ... TheSelect, which is like rehabilitation on steroids. It will help Dad transition off the LungRobot. In other words, it is between TraumaCondo and CrappyRoom ( ... a less than desireable rehab facility ... )
- This anticipated move could happen over the next 3-5 days, but we will need your help.
- CaseWorker Bridge, who helps patients cross the bridge to rehabilitation, will be fighting in our corner.
Here's how you can fight for Dad. Pray for the following:
- An available bed at TheSelect
- Full approval from InsureYouCo.
- More purposeful responses to neurological exams.
That seems pretty simply, right? It is necessary for 100% recovery.

Ray, Pat and family,
Along with many others here at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church and throughout Albuquerque, Linda and I pray daily for the continuation of God's healing miracle. We also pray that you, Ray's family, experience the peace of Christ along with God-given rest and strength.
Jeremiah 29:11 is as much a Word from God for you as it was for God's people in the apparent "prison" of Babylonian captivity. God does have "plans for you, plans for good and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."
Lord bless---
In Christ's love,
Don and Linda Wilson
I went 'searching' online for scriptures for healing. The first response had what I needed to hear, it is a quote from Robert Kolar:
Does God Heal Today? By Robert Kolar, a believer in miracles.
God wants us to pray to him for help. In Luke 18:1 Jesus told his disciples that they "should always pray and not give up." and then Jesus asked "...will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night?" Pray to God from your heart for healing. Don't stop. Don't give up. God wants us to ask him for help. He loves us.
----
AMEN! We will not stop and we will not give up asking God for a healing miracle.
