100% Update: Day Overview
It's 11:20pm and I have not had a chance to tell you what the rest of the day looked like at the TraumaCondo. First, I have to give my thanks to Nurse ChinaDoll, who was back on the One Week Anniversary of ViolentSilence. You see, ChinaDoll was Dad's caregiver on the day he first came to the trauma unit. I remember her deep focus then, and it was there today... only with a smile and a laugh. [Hey Dad, I bet you we surprised her by your continued fight. Keep it up, Dad!]
We had a new caregiver, as well. Nurse TattedRaven quietly introduced himself this morning, smiled, and quickly began care-giving. After some chit-chat [...where did that word come from?...], we found that that TattedRaven knew the PrayerWarriors' daughter. Talk about a small world. I guess he knew about our journey, too. Hope he stays until the end when we reach our 100% Recovery.
Mom went home, but she will be glad to hear that Dad's overnight assistance will be from Nurse Morpheus. I told him this already, but I will tell you that Morpheus is "Morpheus" because of his confident, reserved, soothing [that one is from Mom], and responsive demeanor. Tonight, with only a few minutes for my evening visit, Morpheus withstood the cross-examination of this seasoned lawyer / novice trauma guy. [Thanks for watching over Dad tonight.]
